HÉLITY before COVID-19
Before to fly
As required by the authorities, each passenger will have to take out your boarding pass individually and not earlier than 24 hours before the scheduled time of departure of their flight. In addition, you will need a Declaration of Health (during online check-in or at the heliport / airport) certifying that you do not have any medical symptoms that prevent you from flying. Remember, if you have symptoms, do not go to the airport and contact the health authorities.
The State Aviation Safety Agency has restricted access to Spanish airports exclusively to people who are going to travel. Only those who require assistance may be accompanied; people with reduced mobility (PMR) or unaccompanied minors (UM).
In the case of Malaga airport we recommend you go well in advance. In the case of the Ceuta and Algeciras heliports, try not to go more than half an hour in advance.
Whenever possible, get your boarding pass before reaching the heliport/airport and download it to your mobile to avoid contacts.
At the Airport / Heliport
At all times wear a surgical mask or superior protection that covers the nose and mouth, and try to keep the social distance. We will provide you with a new mask on arrival that you must change, discarding the previous one.
Wash your hands frequently with soap or hydroalcoholic gels and avoid physical contact with other people or surfaces.
For your security, the airport manager has reinforced cleaning with specific products at check-in counters and at all customer contact points.
In order to respect the security distance, we have rearranged, in collaboration with the airport manager, the check-in and boarding lines.
Screens have been placed at check-in and Customer Service desks and all our ground staff are trained in the use of personal protective equipment and safety distance.
On boarding
The use of surgical masks or superior protection is mandatory for those over six years of age, when they access the helicopter and throughout the flight. If you don't take it, we will be forced to deny you boarding.
Remember:
- Before putting on your mask, wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol solution.
- Cover your mouth and nose with the mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
- Avoid touching the mask while wearing it. If you do, wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol solution.
- Remove the mask from behind, without touching the front, and dispose of it immediately in a closed container. Wash your hands with water and soap.
On board
On board, the use of masks at all times is mandatory.
Our helicopters follow a strict cleaning and disinfection protocol, using products indicated against COVID-19.
There is no air recirculation in the helicopter to control cabin pressure. In our cabins the air is renewed in less than a minute.
Our flight crew carries the necessary personal protective equipment, has been trained and knows the protocols and protection systems established by the health authorities in the event of a person with symptoms being detected during the flight.
Arrival at your destination
Passengers are obliged to submit to the sanitary controls established by the Ministry of Health and adopt the established preventive measures.
When you are waiting for your checked luggage, remember to keep the safe distance and do not approach the tape until you see your luggage. Once you collect your luggage, go direct to the exit to avoid interactions.
If someone comes to pick you up, remember to wait outside.
